Henrik Lundqvist is a former National Hockey League goaltender who played for the New York Rangers. Drafted 205th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Lundqvist has gone on to have a storybook career in New York. Since 2005, Lundqvist has received numerous league accolades such as being named to the NHL All Rookie Team in 2006, winning the Vezina Trophy in 2012 and also bringing home a Gold Medal in 2006 for Team Sweden. King Henrik has always made a statement with his gear over the years while playing in front of the crowd at Madison Square Garden. From flashy colors to images of the Statue of Liberty, you always know when King Henrik is between the pipes! Lundqvist was recently introduced into the Hockey Hall Of Fame as being recognized as being one of the best goaltenders to ever play the game.
