Marty Turco Marty Turco is a former National Hockey League goaltender who was drafted 124th overall in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. Turco was a college standout at the University of Michigan, winning two NCAA Championships and recording 127 wins in 4 years. Turco went on to play 11 years in the NHL with the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks and the Boston Bruins. Recently voted by The Hockey News as one of the top 100 goalies to every play in the NHL, Turco currently serves as the President of the Dallas Stars Foundation and also owns Kingsville Brewery which has become a very popular beer choice in Canada since 2017.
Brian’s Custom Sports
Brian’s Custom Sports was originally founded by Sonny Stomp and Brian Heaton in a small sporting goods store in Kingsville, Ontario in 1984. Brian’s immediately became a leading Canadian manufacture of custom built goalie equipment in the hockey industry. The Brian’s factory is still located in Kingsville, Ontario and still supplies some of the best goalies in North America with equipment to this day. Over the years, Brian’s has supplied a large number of well established NHL goaltenders such as, Felix Potvin, Trevor Kidd, Sean Burke, Garth Snow, Ed Belfour and more recent NHL goalies like Igor Shesterkin, Jaroslav Halak, Antti Raanta, Jake Allen and Thatcher Demko. Over the years, numerous goaltenders of all ages have looked to Brian’s Custom Sports to give them a unique look to separate themselves from others which truly has made Brian’s the King Of Custom in the goalie community.
